MISSIONS MONTH AT GPBC

SEPTEMBER 14 - OCTOBER 5, 2025

Missions Month is a big deal at Greater Portland Baptist Church.  This is the time of year when we renew our commitment of financial and prayer support for the cause of world-wide evangelism. 

In every service from September 14 through October 5, we will hear from missionaries; some who are veteran missionaries reporting on the work of God in their field of service, and others who are on their way to the mission field.

Every member will be challenged to make a Faith Promise Missions Commitment for the next year.  What is Faith Promise Missions?  The Faith Promise Missions Offering is the amount you promise to give by faith, above your tithes, during the coming year to support world-wide missions.  It is not calculating the funds available, nor is it taking away from what you are already giving to the church in tithes and offerings.  Rather, it is a commitment between yourself and God in which He tells you how much to give, and you trust Him to make the provision for it.  Through Faith Promise, you become partners in faith with our missionaries.

On Sunday, October 5, we will conclude our Missions Month with an International Food Fellowship following the evening service.  You will be invited to join us to sample food from the four corners of the world in a wonderful time of food and fellowship.

Make plans to be here for every service:  Sunday Morning at 9:45AM & 11:00AM, Sunday Evening at 6:00PM, and Wednesday at 7:00PM.
