Dr. Rick Adams Senior Pastor
Dr. Rick Adams and his wife, Regina, came to Portland in 1982 to start Greater Portland Baptist Church. Pastor Adams has a passion for winning lost souls to Christ, and is known as an old-fashioned Bible preacher. Through his leadership, and under the blessing of the Hand of God, Greater Portland Baptist Church has grown into a family of believers whose ministry extends throughout the greater Portland area and around the globe. Pastor and Mrs. Adams teach The Pursuit Couples Class, and Mrs. Adams teaches a 3 yr. old Children's Church. The Adams have four children, three of whom are married. Dr. Greg Adams Youth Pastor
Dr. Greg Adams and his wife, Tina, joined the staff in 1989. Dr. Adams is Assistant Pastor and is the Youth Pastor of GPBC. Under Dr. Greg Adams' leadership, the Lighthouse Youth Ministry was formed and teens all over East County began to respond to the teaching of God's Word. Over a hundred young people actively participate in the youth ministry each week, and many are involved in ministries of the church, learning as youth to serve in the ministry of the church.
In 1991, the Northwest Youth Conference was born. The Northwest Youth Conference ministers to hundreds of youth and youth workers who come for three days of preaching, God-honoring music, and a time of fun and refreshment each November. Mrs. Tina Adams assists her husband in the youth ministry and teaches a Sunday School class. The Adams have four grown children, all four of whom are married. They also have six grandchildren.

Pastor Brad McFeters Assistant Pastor
Pastor Brad McFeters and his wife, Kelley, have been at GPBC since 1992. Pastor McFeters came on staff part-time in 1995, and became a full-time staff member in 2000. Pastor McFeters is Assistant Pastor and the Director of Christian Education at GPBC. He also serves as Director of the Music Ministry, Media Ministries (including audio and video recordings, as well as the Heart For God Television Ministry, and Sound & Lights Ministry). Pastor McFeters teaches the Connecting Pointe Bible Class for new members and new Christians. Mrs. Kelley McFeters teaches the Ladies of Faith Sunday School class and assists in the Music Ministry. The McFeters' have five children, and minister as foster parents. They have three sons who are married, one daughter who teaches in a Christian School, and one daughter who has recently finished high school. pastor Bob boyd jr Deaf Ministry
Pastor Bob Boyd and his wife Cherie were reached for Christ through the deaf ministry of GPBC. Pastor Boyd joined the staff in a part-time capacity in the summer of 2000. Pastor Boyd is Assistant Pastor and Pastor to the Deaf. Mrs. Cherie Boyd teaches a Sunday School Class and assists her husband in the Deaf Ministry. The Boyds have three children, who are all grown.
Scott McFeters Assistant Pastor
Pastor Scott McFeters grew up at GPBC, coming with his family at the age of 4. In 2012, after completing his Bible college education, Bro. McFeters moved back to Portland to serve as a Pastoral Staff Intern at GPBC. Bro. McFeters was married in the summer of 2015, and in the fall of 2015 became Assistant Pastor at GPBC. Along with his wife, Rachel, the McFeters' serve in leadership in several ministries of GPBC. Bro. McFeters is Staff liaison for the children's ministries, preaches in SuperChurch, serves in music ministry, serves as the chaplain at a local retirement care center, oversees the Senior Saints ministries preaching in multiple nursing homes each month. Bro. McFeters assists the church staff in many projects each week, and is a valuable part of the ministry team. His wife, Rachel, serves as one of our nursery coordinators, and sings in the choir.contact Scott McFeters
